“Puppy Paella”

Provided By  -  Angela Cao

Taste Tested by Joey, Piper & Hannah

Ingredients

• Rotisserie Chicken (or boiled chicken roughly equivalent to a whole chicken) OR 1 - 2 pounds Lean

Ground Turkey cooked until brown and crumbled.

• 1 bag - Frozen Green Beans

• 1 bag - Frozen Cut Carrots

• 1 can - Organic Pumpkin (pure pumpkin - no added ingredients)

• White or Brown Rice - cooked

• 2 tbls - Coconut Oil

Directions

• Shred or chop chicken into small pieces.  I boil chicken when we need chicken stock for one of our rec-

ipes.  Otherwise, it’s easier to buy a pre-cooked rotisserie chicken and remove the skin if it has a strong

seasoning on it.  If using ground turkey, brown and crumble into small pieces.

• Don’t chop up the vegetables into small pieces.  This allows picky eaters to remove what they won’t eat

• Add coconut oil to a large pan over medium to low heat (you might skip this step if your dog is on a low-

fat or restricted diet)

• Add all other ingredients to the same pan and lightly saute until the ingredients are fully incorporated

and mixed together.

• Keep unused portion in the refrigerator and freeze any that won’t be used within a week.

• Mix 1-2 tbls into your dog’s regular kibble to encourage eating
