Celebrating 30 years of PBGVCA Nationals!

1st Parade of Crowns - Top 20 - Royal Rabbit Hunt Party

Parade of Crowns & Fourth Annual PBGVCA Top 20 Information

March 31st 6 p.m.

Join us ring side in the Grand Ballroom for a classy, enjoyable and celebratory evening featuring music, crowns and beautiful PBGVs. The evening will be filled with anticipation as members vie to be the first (and only) Parade of Crowns winner. Along with dinner, attendees will enjoy the excitement as they watch the Top 20 PBGVs in the Country compete. We will end the night with a celebration of 30 years of PBGV Nationals.

Beginning at 6 p.m. the Parade of Crowns will feature our members and their PBGVs parading with their homemade crowns. Each crown will be judged on its own attributes and merits. A "beauty pageant gait", stilettos and evening gowns might get you the extra points you need to win the coveted title of Queen or King of the 2017 PBGV National. Yes - there are prizes that go with this title. Although there is no charge to enter the Parade of Crowns participants must purchase a ticket to the Night of Celebration event. Please see Parade of Crowns rules.

In its fourth year, the Top 20 is a must see event featuring many of the beautiful PBGVs that have competed in 2016. This year they will show to their own special music while their handler takes them around the ring. Be there to support your favorite PBGV and vote for "People's Choice." The Top 20 winner will be announced on Saturday evening at the Annual Banquet and Auction.

The Top-20 Competition offers all who attend a chance to view the very best PBGV's in the country based on their competitive standings in breed points from 2016. Using a point system, each dog is evaluated by three judges according to how closely it conforms to the breed standard. Names of the qualifiers will be posted on PBGVCA's website (www.pbgv.org) when they are available.

We will cap off the evening with drinks, cupcakes and a toast to many more PBGV Nationals. This is a $30 ticketed event which includes a dinner buffet, table favor, catalog, cash bar and a room full of fun. We also offer a Night for Celebration sponsorship option with a deadline of February 1, 2017. For Sponsorship info Click Here. Suggested attire for the evening is very festive or cocktail. raffle will be held with proceeds going to the Top 20. The Top 20 rules and guidelines are available on the club web site.
